Arrival Times on Race Day and Parking
On race day, participants should plan to arrive at Lakeside Park no later than 45 minutes before their scheduled event. Late arrivals may experience significant delays getting into the park to find a parking spot, picking up your packet or registering for your event and may not arrive at the start of your desired race on time. You may use Harbor View Drive, Park Avenue, Main Street or Doty Street to access Lakeside Park. There is no vehicle access to Lakeside Park north of Harbor View Drive without a permit. Most participants park on Harbor View Drive or in parking lots near the softball diamonds. Be prepared to walk a minimum 1/4 mile to the registration area located in the north shelter on Oven Island. Shuttles to the Park The Walleye Weekend Festival offers participants and spectators a better way to get to Lakeside Park on race day. Free shuttles located at Fond du Lac High School (801 Campus Drive) provide a convenient and easy way to get in and out of the park. Visit the Fond du Lac Festivals web site for more information. |
